This week's classic album is another notorious nugget of forgotten far-outness.  Much like their peers The United States of America, White Noise and Lothar & The Hand People, Fifty Foot Hose combined psychedelic pop with a heavy dose of primitive electronics, releasing their solitary, groundbreaking album Cauldron in early 1968.
There doesn't seem to be any footage of the Fifty Foot Hose out there, but here are some fan videos for "Red The Sign Post" and "If Not This Time" from the Cauldron album.  Plus, here's a music video by Spectrum, the group founded by the former Spacemen 3 member known as "Sonic Boom": "How You Satisfy Me".
